Congratulations to our 2010 Inventor of the Year recipients!

Alok Mani Srivastava, Steven Jude Duclos, Qun Deng, James Walter LeBlanc, Tie Bond Gao, Jian Min Wang and Lucas Lemar Clarke are researchers at General Electric Company and are being honored for U.S. Patent No. 7,084,403 entitled SCINTILLATOR COMPOSITIONS, AND RELATED PROCESSES AND ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE, issued on August 1, 2006 which is directed to the discovery of new scintillator (crystal) materials which greatly enhance light output and possess faster decay times for a wide variety of devices used to detect gamma-rays, X-rays, and cosmic rays. 

The inventors were honored on April 13, 2010 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Hilton Garden Inn at Albany Medical Center.
